De Duitse spits Törles Knöll heeft vrijdag zijn laatste wedstrijd voor FC Den Bosch gespeeld. De aanvaller heeft de technische leiding onlangs laten weten dat hij graag terug wil keren bij NK Vukovar 1991 in Kroatië. Bij deze club speelde Knöll voordat hij afgelopen zomer naar FC Den Bosch kwam. Knöll had bij FC Den Bosch nog een contract tot 30 juni 2026. Deze overeenkomst is nu in goed overleg ontbonden.
Technisch directeur Bernard Schuiteman: “Persoonlijk vind ik het heel jammer dat Törles
FC Den Bosch verlaat. Zijn spel past bij FC Den Bosch en hij is belangrijk geweest voor het team. Törles is ook nog eens een zeer prettig persoon en op en top professional. Maar als iemand zich niet helemaal thuis voelt bij de club en in de omgeving, dan moet je daar over praten. Vanuit die gesprekken hebben we samen geconcludeerd dat het voor Törles beter is dat hij terugkeert naar de plek waar hij zich prettig voelt. Daar kan hij volledig tot zijn recht komen en alles uit zichzelf halen. We wensen Törles alle goeds in zijn verdere profcarrière en privé.”
Törles: „Na een half jaar bij FC Den Bosch is het helaas tijd om afscheid te nemen. Ik ben dankbaar voor de steun van de staf, mijn teamgenoten en iedereen die bij de club werkt. Een speciaal bedankje gaat uit naar Bernard, de technisch directeur. Hij heeft mij geholpen om deze richting van mijn carrière op te kunnen gaan. Ook de fans, wiens passie en onvoorwaardelijke steun mij altijd hebben gemotiveerd, wil ik hartelijk bedanken. Het is een eer om dit shirt te dragen. Ik had echt graag gewild dat het voor mij zou werken bij FC Den Bosch, maar ik realiseerde me dat ik mijn volledige potentieel kan laten zien in Kroatië, dat voor mij als een tweede thuis is. Daarom is dit een eerlijke oplossing voor iedereen. De club en mijn teamgenoten wens ik veel succes, een goede gezondheid en de promotie naar de Eredivisie! Bedankt voor alles FC Den Bosch!“

Törles Knöll (27) leaves FC Den Bosch
The German striker Törles Knöll played his last match for FC Den Bosch on Friday. The attacker recently informed the management of the club that he would like to return to NK Vukovar 1991 in Croatia. Knöll played there before he came to FC Den Bosch last Summer. Knöll still had a contract with FC Den Bosch until June 30, 2026. This agreement has now been terminated by mutual agreement.
Sports director Bernard Schuiteman: “Personally, I think it is a great pity that Törles is leaving FC Den Bosch. His game suits FC Den Bosch and he has been important to the team. Törles is also a very professional and pleasant person. But if someone does not feel completely at home at the club and in the area, then you have to talk about it. From those conversations, we have concluded together that it is better for Törles to return to the place where he is happy. Then his full potential will show as he will be able to get the most out of himself as a football player. We wish Törles all the best in his further professional career and personal life.”
Törles: „After half a year at FC Den Bosch, sadly the time has come for me to say goodbye. I am grateful for the support of the staff, my teammates, and everyone who is working at the club. A special thank you goes to Sports Director Bernard who has helped me to go this direction of my career and to the fans, whose passion and unwavering support have always motivated me. It has been an honour to wear this jersey. I would have wished that it would worked out really for me at FC Den Bosch but I realized that I can show my full potential in Croatia, which is like a second home for me.
